Education
Sutton EHCP Crisis campaigns for an Independent Review into Sutton Council’s Special Educational Needs (SEN) decision-making. Sutton Labour activists and Councillors have backed their demands
Health
Keep our St Helier Hospital (KoSHH) campaigns to protect St Helier Hospital’s A&E, Children’s and Maternity Services. Labour members have been active in this organisation over the years.
Anti-Racism and Community Cohesion
Stand up to Racism (SUTR) Sutton is the local branch of the national campaign on this issue and our local members are active in it.
Council Investment Decisions
There is a current petition here from Sutton Friends of Palestine calling for Sutton Council to divest from companies complicit in human rights violations in Gaza and illegal occupation of Palestinian territories.
Local Organisations
Sutton and Cheam Labour strongly support a vibrant voluntary sector to strengthen local citizenship and build local social capital. A directory of local groups is here.
Some Labour activists have volunteered to help Sutton Night Watch help the homeless. More details here.
Some Labour members are active in Sutton for Europe which campaigns for a better UK relationship with the EU in future.

Campaign for State Education (CASE) campaign for the value of a fully comprehensive public education. Members of our local Party took a leading role in it in the past
