Congratulations to Sadiq Khan on his re-election with the votes of Sutton Residents on Thursday 2nd May 2024 as Labour Mayor of London for a historic third term .

• A choice between a Labour led London Assembly supporting the Labour Mayor’s budget and Tories blocking changes  for the better

Under Sadiq Khan as Mayor of London:

• 8,826 primary school children in Sutton are now receiving free school meals, saving families up to £1,000 for each child over two years. This adds up to 1,676,940 free school meals across the year.

• Since 2021, Sadiq has invested £616,299 in Sutton youth clubs through his New Deal for Young People, reaching 301 young people with preventative and early intervention activities, such as mentoring.

• Sadiq is tackling the housing crisis by funding 337 council house starts since 2016 and investing £19,999,000 in affordable housing since 2020 alone.
